This is an anamorphic lens to be used on the 4/3 NEC projector series HT1x00 (HT1000 or HT1100).
It allows for full height anamorphic DVDs (using all vertical definition, without black bars at 1.85:1) to be stretched back to the proper aspect ratio with additional 33% definition.
Manufactured in small quantities. Original MSRP was US$999.
Brand new in original box + packaging, I have never used it.
